Carl Black Automotive Top Track Challenge Series
& O'Reilly Southern All Stars Banquet Set For
January 12th
CLEVELAND,
TN—The 2007 Carl Black Automotive Top Track
Challenge Series Champion Jake Knowles of
Tyrone, GA., and the 2007 O’Reilly South All
Star Champion Ivedent Lloyd of Ocala, FL., will
be honored for the their accomplishments in
winning their series titles, on Saturday night
January 12th at the Cleveland Country Club in
Cleveland, TN.
Jake Knowles of Tyrone, GA., took the top prize
in the 2007 Carl Black Automotive Top Track
Challenge Series as battled year long with Chuck
Padgett and Lamar Haygood for the top spot.
Knowles won the championship by 66 point with
Padgett of Jasper, GA., took home the second
spot, third to Lamar Haygood of Douglasville,
GA., fourth was J J Nye of Ball Ground, GA., who
also was the Cruise With the Champi ons Rookie
of the Year, fifth to Alan Brewer of Avondale
Estates, GA., and sixth to John Owenby of
Cleveland, TN. The top six in the series will
be honored along with the crew and family
members that are in attendance.
Lloyd will take home the top prize in the
O’Reilly Southern All Star Series as he took the
championship by 76 points over the second place
driver Mark Vineyard of Powell, TN., who has
came in the second spot for the third
consecutive year, Munford, AL., driver Stacy
Holmes embarked on his first full year of
touring series racing and garnered the Cleveland
Speedway Rookie of The Year title along with the
a third place finish in the final standings.
Fourth place went to Jake Knowles of Tyrone,
GA., and fifth place to Casey < SPAN
style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY:
Verdana">Roberts
of Toccoa, GA.
Finishing sixth through tenth in the final
standings are Chris Madden, Clint Smith, Dennis
Franklin Bryan Sumner and Shane Clanton. All of
the drivers will be honored at the awards
presentation.
Also the event will be combined
with the Cleveland Speedway and North Georgia
Speedway banquets honoring their champions as
well to make it a big night of fun for the
entire family.
