DAVID EUBANKS SCORES CARL BLACK TOP TRACKS CHALLENGE SERIES WIN AT DIXIE SPEEDWAY

 

Woodstock, GA (August 4, 2007) – David Eubanks became the fourth different winner in four races in the Carl Black Top Tracks Challenge Series (TTCS) 2007 racing season by picking up the series sanctioned event at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA on Saturday Night.

 

Fifty-two entrants were on hand for the $2,000 to win race postponed one week due to rain.

 

Don Jenkins finished in the second spot with defending series champion Mike Head charging up to a third place finish. 

 

Lamar Haygood finished in the fourth spot with Jake Knowles fifth.  Haygood closed the gap between first and second place in points.  Haygood now sits just two points behind Knowles who sits atop the TTCS point standings.

 

Richard Thomas came home in the sixth spot with Dale Thurman seventh.  Allan Brewer crossed the line in eighth with Derrick Rainey ninth and Chuck Page rounding out the top ten.

 

The TTCS next series race will be this Saturday Night August 11th at the Tazwell Speedway in Tazwell, TN.  The race will be highlighted by a forty-lap feature event paying $2,000 to win.
