STEPHEN ROGERS SCORES CARL BLACK TOP TRACKS CHALLENGE SERIES WIN AT THE “TAZ”

Tazwell, TN (August 11, 2007) – Stephen Rogers became the sixth different winner in the Carl Black Top Tracks Challenge Series (TTCS) 2007 racing campaign, picking up the win in the forty-lap feature event at the Tazwell Speedway in Tazwell, TN on Saturday Night.

Ronnie Johnson rallied from the back to a second place finish with rookie of the year candidate JJ Nye turning his best performance of the season in third.

Bob Gibby finished in the fourth spot with new TTCS points leader Lamar Haygood rounding out the top five.

Sixth through tenth went to Chris Fennell in Sixth, Chuck Padgett in seventh, Reed Johnson eighth, Jake Knowles in ninth and Ricky Moore in tenth.

The TTCS is back in action this Friday & Saturday Night featuring the first double-header weekend of the season.

Monte Morrow will host the series at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA on Friday Night before the series shifts north to the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, TN on Saturday.
