CARL BLACK TOP TRACKS CHALLENGE SERIES
ANNOUNCES INCREASE IN 2007 POINTS FUND
Huntsville, AL (July 16, 2007) – Officials from the Carl Black Top Tracks Challenge Series(TTCS) announced today that the 2007 points fund has been increased by $1,000 bringing the total from $25,000 to $26,000.
The original point fund of $25,000 will be paid out to the top five in points. The additional $1,000 added in the point fund will be paid to the sixth place finisher in the seasons point standings.
“The overwhelming success of the series and the 2007 season with the support we are receiving is the reason we increased the points fund to add another position,” stated TTCS General Manager Lynn Acklin.
So far in the 2007, TTCS has seen four races with four different winners and eighty-three different competitors. There has been twelve drivers compete at all four events making those drivers eligible for the Crate Motor give-a-way at the seasons end.
The next event for the TTCS will be on Saturday July 28th at the Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA. The race will be highlighted by a 40 Lap $2,000 to win main event.
