CARL BLACK TOP TRACKS CHALLENGE SERIES AT ROME POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT SUNDAY JULY 8^TH

Rome, GA (July 1, 2007) – Officials from the Carl Black Top Tracks Challenge Series (TTCS) along with Rome International Speedway officials were forced to postpone tonight’s sanctioned event due to rain and thunderstorms.

Rain fell on the speedway just before the opening of the gates and again around 6pm forcing the postponement.

The race will be made up next Sunday Night July 8^th.

TTCS officials also announced today that Tazwell Speedway has picked up an event on Saturday August 11^th.

Another double-header weekend is being finalized as well, and details will be announced soon.

The TTCS will race into East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL on Tuesday Night July 3^rd.  The race will be highlighted by a thirty-lap feature event paying $1,500 to win.
