CARL BLACK TOP TRACKS CHALLENGE SERIES INVADES DIXIE SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AUGUST 25TH
Huntsville, AL (August 20, 2007) – Officials and drivers from the Carl Black Top Tracks Challenge Series (TTCS) will continue there mid-summer swing this Saturday Night August 25th at the Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA.
The race will be highlighted by a thirty-lap $2,000 to win main event.
Jake Knowles took over the top spot in points after the series double-header this past weekend and will look to improve on the slim points lead.
Other drivers in the top five who will be looking at closing ground include Lamar Haygood, Chuck Padgett, Rookie of the year point leader JJ Nye and John Owenby.
So far in the 2007 TTCS campaign there has been eight different winners in the eight touring races, and the local tough contingent at Dixie Speedway will be looking at making that nine for nine.
This will be the second stop of the season at Dixie for the TTCS competitors as David Eubanks picked up the win back on August 11th.
Along with the TTCS, Dixie Speedway will host the Limited Late Models, Super and Econo Bombers along with the cruiser division. Also a $1,000 to win Demolition Derby will end the nights activities.
Gates on Saturday will open at 4:30 with racing scheduled for 8PM.
